Refund and Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all purchases made through Mustaqbil Institute of Language and Education its Learning Management System (LMS), website, mobile applications, online learning platform, and associated digital services.
By purchasing any course, e-book, PDF, video, subscription, membership, certification program, or other digital product from our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Nature of Products Sold
Our platform primarily provides:
- Online courses
- Recorded video lectures
- Live classes
- Premium educational content
- Islamic learning programs
- Digital certificates
- Downloadable PDFs
- E-books
- Study materials
- Audio lectures
- Premium articles
- Research materials
- Membership subscriptions
- Assessments and examinations
- Digital libraries
- Ask Mufti premium services
- Workshops and webinars
Most products offered through our platform are digital, downloadable, streamable, or immediately accessible upon purchase.
2. General Refund Principle
Due to the nature of digital products, intellectual property, educational resources, downloadable content, and instant access services, all sales are generally considered final.
Once access has been granted to digital content, the content cannot be “returned” in the same way as a physical product.
Therefore, refunds are only granted under the circumstances expressly described in this policy.
3. Non-Refundable Purchases

- Opened, or
- Made available in the user account,
the purchase becomes non-refundable.
Video Content

Refunds will not be granted if:
- The video has been viewed.
- Access has been activated.
- Streaming access has been provided.
Course Materials
Including:
- Course notes
- Assignments
- Assessments
- Course resources
- Learning modules
Once access is granted, refunds are not available.
Memberships
Including:
- Premium memberships
- Subscription plans
- Annual access plans
- Institutional memberships
Refunds are generally not available after activation.
Certificates
Fees paid for:
- Examinations
- Certification processing
- Certificate verification
- Re-issuance fees
are non-refundable.
4. Situations Eligible for Refund
A refund may be approved only in the following situations.
A. Duplicate Payments
If a user is charged more than once for the same product due to:
- Technical issues
- Payment gateway errors
- System malfunction
the duplicate amount will be refunded after verification.
B. Failed Delivery of Purchased Content
Refunds may be granted if:
- Payment is successful,
- Access is not granted,
- Our support team cannot restore access within a reasonable period.
C. Course Cancellation by Institute
If the Institute cancels:
- A live course
- A workshop
- A webinar
- A training program
and no suitable replacement is offered, the user may be entitled to:
- Full refund, or
- Credit toward another course.
D. Accidental Multiple Purchases
If a user accidentally purchases the same product multiple times within a short period and has not accessed the additional purchase, a refund may be considered.
E. Technical Defects
Refunds may be approved if:
- Purchased content is permanently inaccessible.
- Files are corrupted.
- Videos fail to play.
- Download links do not function.
and our support team is unable to resolve the issue.
5. Situations Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds will not be granted for:
Change of Mind
Including:
- No longer interested.
- Purchased by mistake.
- Found another course elsewhere.
- Content did not meet personal expectations.
Failure to Read Product Description
Users are responsible for reviewing:
- Product descriptions
- Course outlines
- Requirements
- Access duration
- Features
before purchase.
Lack of Time
Refunds will not be granted because:
- User became busy.
- User could not complete the course.
- User postponed studies.
Personal Preference
Including:
- Teaching style preferences.
- Course difficulty level.
- Different learning expectations.
Device or Internet Issues
Refunds are not available due to:
- Slow internet connection.
- Unsupported devices.
- Browser incompatibility caused by outdated software.
- Local network restrictions.
Partial Consumption
Refunds will not be granted when users have:
- Viewed substantial course content.
- Downloaded materials.
- Consumed educational resources.
6. Course Refund Window (Optional Business Rule)
The Institute may, at its sole discretion, offer a limited refund period for selected courses.
Example:
- Refund request submitted within 7 days of purchase.
- Less than 10% of course completed.
- No certificate issued.
- No downloadable content accessed.
If implemented, eligibility requirements must be met in full.
The Institute reserves the right to disable refunds for specific products.
7. Live Classes, Webinars, and Workshops
User Cancellation
If a participant cannot attend:
More than 7 Days Before Event
The Institute may:
- Offer refund,

- Allow transfer to another batch.
Less than 7 Days Before Event
Refunds are generally not available.
Missed Sessions
No refunds will be issued for:
- Failure to attend.

Monthly Subscriptions
Users may cancel future renewals at any time.
Cancellation prevents future charges only.
No refund is provided for:
- Current billing cycle.

Annual Subscriptions

13. Account Suspension and Refunds
No refunds will be issued if an account is suspended or terminated due to:
- Policy violations.
- Academic misconduct.
- Harassment.
- Unauthorized sharing of content.
- Copyright infringement.
- Fraudulent activities.
- Negative publicity on social media against our institute
14. Processing Time for Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved:

- Refund Processing: 7–15 business days
- Bank Processing: Depends on payment provider
Actual timelines may vary depending on:
- Payment gateway
- Bank policies
- Country of residence
15. Store Credits
Instead of a monetary refund, the Institute may offer:
- LMS wallet credit
- Course credit
- Transfer to another course
- Voucher codes
at its sole discretion.
16. Product Access Revocation After Refund
If a refund is approved:

- Course access
- Video access
- Download permissions
- Membership privileges
- Certificates
- Learning records associated with the refunded purchase
Users must cease using refunded content immediately.
17. Force Majeure
The Institute shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Internet outages
- Cyberattacks
- Power failures
- Pandemics
- Events beyond reasonable control
Refunds in such situations shall be determined at the Institute’s discretion.
18. Special Rule for Downloadable Content
For the protection of intellectual property:
No Refund After Download
Once any downloadable product has been:
- Downloaded,
- Opened,
- Accessed,
- Saved locally,
the transaction becomes final and non-refundable.
This applies to:
- E-books
- PDFs
- Notes
- Worksheets
- Study material
- Digital publications

Refund requests must be submitted through our LMS system.
User can login to the portal and click on the Refund button if the content is not yet approved. If it is already approved then contact via:

- Full Name
- Registered Email
- Order Number
- Product Purchased
- Reason for Request
- Payment Reference Number
Incomplete requests may be delayed or rejected.
20. Institute’s Final Decision
All refund, cancellation, credit, and exception requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The Institute reserves the right to:
- Approve requests
- Reject requests
- Request additional information
- Offer store credit instead of cash refund
The decision of the Institute shall be final, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
Recommended LMS Technical Controls
To support this policy, your LMS should automatically:
- Record video watch percentage.
- Track course completion percentage.
- Track PDF downloads.
- Track e-book access.
- Log IP address and device activity.
- Record login history.
- Record purchase timestamps.
- Detect duplicate purchases.
- Disable content access after approved refunds.
- Maintain refund audit logs.
- Generate downloadable refund reports for administrators.
These controls provide legal evidence in case of refund disputes, chargebacks, content piracy claims, or payment gateway investigations.
